Sleep: the big payback
Eight hours spent lying down and unconsciousóyouíre not actively doing anything so itís a waste of time, right?
Wrong. Youíre far from inactive when you sleep and the benefits of a good nightís shut-eye shouldnít be underestimated. Without it, you become sluggish, irritable and forgetful. With it you feel restored, full of energy and ready for the day.
With busy lives, itís easy not to give it the credit it deserves. So don't treat sleep as a waste of time.
