These changes are effective for new members from 18 November 2013.

Discretionary entrant terms

Group Life
We have increased the initial time period after first being eligible to join the scheme from 6 - 12 months, to 12 months thereafter.

Actively at work (AAW) terms

Group Life
We have reduced the time a member has to return to work having not been AAW from 20 consecutive working days to 5 consecutive working days.

Group Income Protection
For AAW terms applicable to single premium costed schemes, we have amended the time a member has to return to work having not been AAW from 1 month to 20 consecutive working days."
